Adelphos comes from Philos Adelphos, the Greek roots of Philadelphia's name, meaning "Brotherly Love." We built this practice around that idea: having a doctor who knows you, is available when you need them, and is invested in your health.

DR. Bryan Botti, MD
My philosophy is to both help anyone with whatever issue they have and emphasize prevention of chronic disease. In pursuit of this, I learned take care of the whole person during my family medicine residency and continued with a sports medicine fellowship to better treat orthopedic injuries and to understand the active human body. I then pursued a board certification in lifestyle medicine to further prevent and treat conditions without medication. After graduating, I spent years working in a system that only let me use a fraction of my knowledge. I found that the insurance-based healthcare system is too rigid to deliver care that is individualized and adaptable to patient needs.
I started Adelphos Direct Care to better align with how I practice. I view my role as an expert in medicine to help guide my patients in their care empower them to follow the plan that is right for them. At Adelphos, it is just my patient and me, without an insurance company deciding what the visit should look like. I have the liberty to practice everything I trained for and the flexibility to adapt as my patients’ needs change.
I believe in being the kind of doctor who takes care of his community. For me, that means taking care of my LGBTQ+ community as well as my fellow Philadelphians. I want to know my patients’ histories, deliver care that aligns with their values, and empower patients to instill lasting change that leads to long and fulfilling lives.
Outside of work I spend time with my husband, my two Cavapoos, as well s friends and family. You can also find me singing, dancing, gardening, cooking, baking, or working out in the gym most days.
I'm triple board-certified in Family Medicine, Sports Medicine, and Lifestyle Medicine. I completed my family medicine residency at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital, followed by a sports medicine fellowship at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital/Rothman Orthopedics. I earned my medical degree from Rutgers-Robert Wood Johnson Medical School and currently serve as residency faculty at the Bryn Mawr Hospital Family Medicine Residency, as well as clinical teaching faculty with Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine, Thomas Jefferson Sidney Kimmel Medical College, and Temple Medical School.
