Adelphos comes from Philos Adelphos, the Greek roots of Philadelphia's name, meaning "Brotherly Love." We built this practice around that idea: having a doctor who knows you, is available when you need them, and is invested in your health.

DR. Bryan Botti, MD
I trained to take care of the whole person through my family medicine residency, and continued with a sports medicine fellowship to better treat orthopedic injuries and to understand the active human body. I further pursued a board certification in lifestyle medicine to better prevent and treat conditions without medication. I did all of that so I could help anyone with whatever issue they may have. Then I spent years in a system that only let me use a fraction of it.
I believe a good family doctor is adaptable to their patients needs, and I faced a system that was too rigid to deliver that.
I started Adelphos Direct Care to better align with how I practice. I view my role as an expert in medicine to help guide my patients in their care, and I empower my patients to follow the plan that is right for them. At this practice, it is just me and my patient, without an insurance company deciding what their visit looks like. I have room to practice everything I trained for, and to change how I work as my patients’ needs change.
The kind of doctor I want to be is one who takes care of his community. That means taking care of my LGBT community, and my fellow Philadelphians overall. I want to be someone who knows my patients’ history, delivers care that aligns with their values, and empowers them to make behavioral changes that will help them live a long and fulfilling life.
Outside of work I sing, dance, garden, cook, bake, and I'm in the gym most days. I like to spend time with my husband, my two Cavapoos, and my friends and family.
I'm board-certified in Family Medicine, Sports Medicine, and Lifestyle Medicine. I completed my family medicine residency at Jefferson, followed by a sports medicine fellowship at Jefferson/Rothman Orthopedics. I earned my medical degree from Rutgers-Robert Wood Johnson Medical School, and I currently serve as residency faculty at the Bryn Mawr Family Medicine Residency, as well as clinical teaching faculty with Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine, Jefferson Medical School, and Temple Medical School.
